Hello my name is Toby Lemus
I am a professional in character design, visual development, and 2D Animation driven by my passion for creating compelling stories through the characters and settings I create. Aside from sharing my voice through my visual art I also have a huge love for creative writing in my free-time, especially science-fiction and fantasy. I firmly believe that communicating emotion and story through art is one of the most powerful parts of what makes all of us human. With this in mind my goal as a visual developer and character designer is to make every piece convey something, whether it be a person, a feeling, or a memory from long ago.
As an artist I'm always looking for ways to push the envelope of my knowledge by learning something new from every piece I make. To grow means to challenge oneself accordingly and to never be put-off by shortcomings or mistakes, but, rather, embracing what can be learned for next time. That also means taking the time to know my co-workers and employers, finding out how each person operates to ensure a steady flow of positivity that creates a healthy work environment. I'm a team player who loves the input of others as ideas are a lot more exciting when you share them with people you look up to.
In conclusion my goal by the end of the day is to make stunning artwork and make my co-workers smile, culminating in a complete project to be proud of.
